Choice of model The choice should take into account the following parameters: 1. Weight/Size For the large/heavy athlete, the Booster Medium or the World Cup is best, for the small/light athlete the Booster Soft 2. Aggressiveness For aggressive skiers, the Medium and World Cup models are best, while the Booster Soft 3 is ideal for more relaxed skiers. Discipline For technical disciplines, Medium or World Cup are preferable, Soft 4 for fast skiers. Hardness of ski boot plastics Hard boot ® Booster Medium or World Cup, soft boot ® Booster Soft 5. Rigidity of the ski Rigid ski ® Booster Medium or World Cup, flexible ski ® Booster Soft It is advisable to start with a more flexible model rather than a rigid model. A softer model will have a lower elastic response but will make it easier to feel the characteristic benefits of the Booster. If skiers start with a model that is too rigid, they may not understand the benefits of the Velcro strap.

Booster Straps provide maximum ski boot performance, extraordinary ski control and shock absorption to protect the shin. The BOOSTER STRAP should be routed around the outside of the rear spoiler and inside the plastic shell, against the tongue at the front. The elastic is then stretched by about a centimetre. If, after the first turn, you don't notice a spectacular difference in the ski's response, the BOOSTER STRAP is too loose or incorrectly installed. On the other hand, if after a few turns you feel like something is pushing you backwards, the BOOSTER is too tight. Bear in mind that, as in any sport, your level improves with experience and your BOOSTER setting may vary over time. Adjust it to your skill level. Note: on boots with a high shell at the front, the elastic part will be behind the shell at the front. It is recommended that the Velcro ™ strap is removed as it is no longer required or desirable.
