At HEAD, innovation is part of our DNA. The company was founded by a true ski pioneer, Howard Head. His philosophy of progress lives on today in our products and everything we do.
Racing skis meet the regulations of the FIS (International Ski Federation). They are narrow and rigid, with specific dimensions by discipline.
Giant skis are much longer than Slalom skis (at the waist versus 165cm for Slalom for men and at the waist versus 155cm for Slalom for women). They therefore have narrower tips. The radius is also larger. A large radius allows you to negotiate long curves with much more speed and stability.
These skis are reserved for expert skiers and require a perfect technique to be skied.

Located at the front and back of the ski, the EMC converts kinetic energy into electrical energy
which is used to balance the ski – find out more about the circuit and how it works here.
Sharp turns, gliding and impacts can twist the ski and cause vibrations. The EMC’s ceramic piezoelectric element converts this kinetic energy into electrical energy.
The electricity generated by the piezoelectric plate passes through a circuit composed of a resistor and a layer of carbon injected with graphene in the ski.
The circuit captures electrical energy and eliminates unwanted vibrations, balancing the ski. The reduction in vibration results in increased stability and better grip for the skier.
The Worldcup Rebels e-GS RD brings speed, balance, and control to the world’s top golfers. It features Head’s new EMC technology, which reduces vibration and improves stability for greater flexibility, and graphene technology for optimal weight distribution, balance and control.
Its highly responsive wood core makes it stronger, lighter and more powerful than its competitors. Thanks to the WRC Team race plate, the ski is less aggressive which makes it ideal for athletes and youngsters alike.
If you are looking for a ski to win giant slaloms, look no further.
